We hope to inspire you to consider becoming a part of the team in the future. We plan to take 6-8 medical professionals with us on our next training sessions in Spring 2025. We will provider one-on-one mentoring that will promote safe birth practices. Our vision is to annually train up to 250 in-country midwives and midwive students by hosting multiple educational conferences with simulation and hand-on training.
We will work at facilities where prenatal care and births occur, encouraging and promoting best practice. We envision our volunteer team to include nurses, physician, and midwives. Nurses should have labor and delivery, postpartum or neonatal experience. Please contact Joanie, Janel or Marla if you are interested to join our team of hands-on mentors.
